Ross will enjoy this...

I have decided that to cheer myself up, I need to pick a hobby that is easy to sustain. I have many other hobbies, but school and work stop me from enjoying them as often as I would like. Lately, I have been toying with the idea of getting serious about fish-keeping. I love my fish. I have four spotted cories who are the sweetest little guys ever. Besides the mandatory filters, fake plants, and air bubbler, I don't do much else except feed them, change the water, and fall asleep watching them swim. With the recent purchase of a proper hood and not-so-proper light, I am even more inspired to buy a heater, another filter to replace the one that broke (I keep two running, usually) buy a master water testing kit, so I can control the Ph levels and keep weaker fish alive, buy a light that is made for live plants, and finally....*drum role please* adopt some neon tetras, guppies and a few more cories. I need fish that are small and have similar water requirements to my cories. I am so excited. This is a hobby that I can enjoy without loads of time commitments. Just once a week for daily enjoyment. I also want to move my fish tank from my desk by the window to a stand by my bed. That way, I can have the fancy light on and actually see it! Then when Ross comes to visit me, he can enjoy the fish, too! Maybe he would like to help me pick out my fishies?

Ross, this website is for you, dude: http://www.ratemyfishtank.com
